Zoute River Garden Farm is a working market garden, guest house and studio located in Hopefield, South Africa.

Our garden farm produces specialty heirloom vegetables, herbs and flowers for the local market, and we offer guest accommodation to visitors of the town and broader West Coast region. We also offer studio space for art residencies, writing retreats, workshops and pop-up events.

The property lies on popular Church Street — in a rural setting further down the river within walking distance from the town’s main attractions. The town itself is centrally located and an excellent base from which to explore the West Coast.

Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway, are making a business stopover, or need some time and space to finish a thesis, paint, or take photographs of wildflowers, birds, or historical architecture, Zoute River provides the perfect venue and escape.
